How valet trash pickup works.
Your community offers doorstep trash pickup. Here's how to use it, in three simple steps.
Set it out
Place your bagged, tied trash in your door bin during the pickup window on service nights.
We collect it
Our uniformed porters pick up from every door and carry it to the compactor.
Bring the bin in
Bring your empty bin back inside by the next morning to keep hallways clear.
Pickup nights and times can vary by community. Check with your leasing office for your exact schedule.
Please do
- Bag and tie all trash, and place it inside your door bin
- Set your bin out only during the pickup window
- Flatten all boxes and place them next to or inside your bin
- Bring your empty bin back inside by the next morning
Please don't
- Leave bulk items: furniture, mattresses, appliances or electronics
- Set out loose or unbagged trash, or bags that are leaking
- Include hazardous waste: chemicals, paint, batteries or needles
- Leave trash outside your door before or after the pickup window

Common questions
My trash wasn't picked up. What should I do?
Check that it was bagged, inside the bin and set out during the pickup window. If it was, please let your leasing office know and we'll make it right.
Why did I get a courtesy notice?
Notices are left when trash doesn't follow the guidelines, such as unflattened boxes, loose trash or items set out at the wrong time. They're a friendly reminder, not a fine.
What do I do with furniture or large items?
Bulk items aren't part of doorstep pickup. Contact your leasing office for your community's bulk-item options.
Do I need to be home?
No. Just set your bin out during the window and we'll take care of the rest.
